The Last Known Mafia - John Gotti

The Last Known Mafia - John Gotti

John Gotti, also known as John Angelo Gotti III, was a famous mobster and gang leader during the 1990s in New York.He was the son of John J.Gotti, who was the leader of the Gambino crime family. He took over from his father after his death.Between the years 2004 and 2009, he has been involved in many illegal crimes. But, in January 2010, the government announced that he would not be prosecuted for any of those crimes due to inadequate evidence. His father John J.Gotti was also known as the "Dapper Don" for his stylish suits or the "Teflon Don" for his ability to avoid prosecutions. He took the name "Teflon Jr." for similar reasons. In 1992, he was sentenced to prison for various crimes and also became the leader of the Gambino crime family. As he was a relation to Gotti senior, he was allowed to visit him in prison and it was widely speculated that he followed his father's orders, which were designed while in the prison. He has made the headline news recently as he avoided his fifth trial. It is the fourth time in four years that the judges failed to make a final decision regarding Gotti's case.He was tried three times previously regarding various racketeering charges and has escaped prosecution every single time. Will John Gotti ever get punished? Only time can answer this question.Whatever the case, he will always be reminded as the don who never got caught.
